Peter Dalmalm becomes the new Country Senior Executive for Nordea in Sweden
Nordea has announced that the bank is appointing a new Country Senior Executive for its Swedish operations. Peter Dalmalm will be taking over the position from Per Långsved.
Per Långsved is leaving his current role to take on new challenges within the banking group. Starting November 1, 2026, he will serve as Head of Personal Banking and join Nordea’s Group Leadership Team.
The change is part of a broader strategic plan within the bank. Nordea is currently implementing several adjustments to its leadership team to strengthen its position in the Nordic market.
Peter Dalmalm is assuming responsibility for the Swedish operations with the goal of continuing the bank's work in Sweden. It has not yet been determined exactly when he will take up his new position, but the transition will occur in conjunction with Per Långsved beginning his new role in the Group Leadership Team.
