Swedish defense company receives EU support for testing in Ukraine
Six different defense companies from Europe have been selected to receive financial support through the EU program BraveTechEU. Among these companies is a Swedish player that now has the opportunity to develop and test its technology in practice.
The purpose of the program is to rapidly develop new technology that can strengthen defense capabilities. By testing the equipment in Ukraine, the companies gain valuable experience regarding how the technology performs in a real conflict situation.
In addition to the Swedish company, startups from Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, and France are also participating. The collaboration demonstrates how the EU is investing in innovation to meet today's security policy challenges in the surrounding region.
This initiative is part of a larger effort within the EU to support the defense industry. By combining research with practical testing, the hope is to contribute to a safer future for both Ukraine and the member states of the union.
