Accessible tourism in Switzerland continues to grow
The network of the "Accessible Tour of Switzerland" initiative is recording significant growth. With the addition of Graubünden Ferien and Mendrisiotto Turismo, the network now comprises a total of 14 tourism organizations across Switzerland.
The goal of the initiative is to make traveling easier for people with physical disabilities. Through these new partners, the range of accessible excursion destinations and accommodations in various regions of the country will be further expanded.
The collaboration between the tourism organizations makes it possible to centrally bundle information about accessible offerings. This allows travelers to better inform themselves about which places in Switzerland are easily accessible for people with disabilities.
The expansion of the network shows that the topic of inclusion is becoming increasingly important in Swiss tourism. With the new partners from Grisons and Ticino, the range of offerings is now even more diverse and covers additional key holiday regions.
For many travelers, this commitment means a significant improvement in the quality of their travel. The initiative hopes to gain even more partners in the future to further strengthen Switzerland as an accessible travel destination for everyone.
