Fatal traffic accident in Buochs: Motorcyclist deceased
A serious traffic accident occurred on Tuesday in the municipality of Buochs in the canton of Nidwalden. A 64-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in the incident. The police have launched an investigation into the exact circumstances of the accident.
According to initial information from the authorities, a collision occurred between the motorcycle and another vehicle on a single-lane road. Due to the force of the impact, the motorcyclist was subsequently thrown against another vehicle that was also on the road.
Despite immediate rescue efforts by emergency personnel on site, the 64-year-old man died at the scene of the accident. The police closed the affected road for several hours to carry out forensic work and reconstruct the sequence of events.
