New trinational master's program promotes sustainable economy in the Upper Rhine region
A new academic initiative is strengthening cooperation in the border region between Switzerland, Germany, and France. The trinationally designed master's program "Sustainable Business Development" has been launched to train specialists for the challenges of a sustainable economy.
The program pursues an interdisciplinary approach. It combines core content from the fields of business administration, modern technology, and ecological sustainability. The goal is to enable students to support companies in the transition to more environmentally friendly and efficient business models.
The project is particularly relevant for the Upper Rhine region, as it brings together students from the three neighboring countries. Through the exchange across national borders, participants benefit from diverse economic perspectives and close networking with local companies.
The training thus responds directly to the growing need for experts who can combine economic success with ecological responsibility. Upon graduation, students are expected to be able to develop innovative solutions for industry in the trinational economic region.
With this offering, the region is setting a benchmark for the future of cross-border education. In the long term, the program aims to help secure the competitiveness of companies in the Upper Rhine region while simultaneously making an important contribution to climate protection.
