EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026: The finalists for the prestigious business award have been announced
The business consulting firm EY has announced the finalists for this year's "Entrepreneur Of The Year" award. This distinction honors the outstanding achievements of entrepreneurs who demonstrate innovation, courage, and economic success. The competition is considered one of the most significant awards for Swiss companies.
This year's selection shows an impressive regional diversity. The finalists come from the cantons of Geneva, Jura, Schwyz, St. Gallen, Ticino, and Zurich. Particularly encouraging is the strong presence of French-speaking Switzerland, Ticino, and Central Switzerland, which are represented in the final with several companies this year.
In total, companies from six different cantons have made it to the final round. Some regions stand out in particular: the cantons of Geneva, Schwyz, and Zurich are each represented by two companies in the selection. This broad geographical distribution underscores the innovative strength that prevails in the various parts of Switzerland.
The jury will now evaluate the finalists' achievements in detail over the coming weeks. This process considers not only current business figures but also the long-term strategy and social contribution of the companies. The festive award ceremony, where the winners will be crowned, is eagerly awaited.
The "Entrepreneur Of The Year" is more than just an award; it offers participating companies a platform to share their success stories and network with one another. For the Swiss economy, the competition is an important signal that demonstrates the potential inherent in domestic companies.
