Accessible tourism in Switzerland continues to grow

The "Accessible Tour of Switzerland" network is expanding its offerings for travelers with physical limitations. As the organization announced, two more important partners have joined: Graubünden Ferien and Mendrisiotto Turismo. This brings the total number of tourism organizations in the network to 14 across Switzerland.

The goal of the initiative is to make Switzerland accessible to everyone. The participating regions are working to design tourist offerings in such a way that they can be used without difficulty by people with disabilities. This includes, for example, accessible hiking trails, accommodations, and cultural offerings.

The expansion of the network is an important step for Swiss tourism. Through the cooperation of the various cantons, travelers can more easily find information about accessible destinations. This is intended to make vacations in Switzerland more comfortable and easier to plan for people with mobility impairments.

The new partners, Graubünden and Mendrisiotto, bring their specific experience to the network. While Graubünden is primarily known for its mountain landscape, Mendrisiotto in Ticino offers a different geographical environment. Both regions are now committed to further improving their tourism infrastructure.

With these new members, "Accessible Tour of Switzerland" now covers an even larger part of the country. The project shows that inclusion in tourism is a growing topic that is gaining importance for both locals and guests from abroad.
