Accessible tourism in Switzerland continues to grow
The "Accessible Tour of Switzerland" initiative is expanding its network in Switzerland. With the addition of Graubünden Ferien and Mendrisiotto Turismo, the project now includes a total of 14 tourism organizations from various regions of the country.
The goal of the initiative is to improve travel options for people with physical disabilities. Through the collaboration of the various partners, information about accessible accommodations, excursion destinations, and transport options is to be made more easily available.
The expansion of the network shows that the topic of inclusion is becoming increasingly important in Swiss tourism. Travelers with disabilities should be able to experience Switzerland's diverse landscapes and offerings without unnecessary obstacles.
The new partners are contributing their regional expertise to further increase the quality of the offerings. In doing so, the project is making an important contribution to positioning Switzerland as a travel destination accessible to everyone.
