New Swiss investment product uses AI for Bitcoin investments
A new financial product from Switzerland now offers investors an innovative way to invest in Bitcoin. The so-called ETP (Exchange Traded Product) is characterized by a special feature: it automatically adjusts the weighting of the cryptocurrency based on the current market situation.
Risk management is not carried out manually by humans, but through modern technology. The product is based on quantitative models that rely on artificial intelligence (AI). These analyze market data on a monthly basis and then decide what the Bitcoin allocation in the portfolio should be.
The goal of this approach is to better control volatility, i.e., the sharp price fluctuations of Bitcoin. If the AI detects increased market risk, the model can reduce the share of the cryptocurrency. In more stable phases, the share is increased again to benefit from potential price gains.
For Swiss investors, this represents a new type of digital asset management. While Bitcoin has gained significant importance in recent years, many investors are deterred from direct purchases due to the high risks involved. The automated management is intended to make entering the crypto market safer and easier.
Whether this AI-supported strategy will prevail over traditional investment methods in the long term remains to be seen. Experts are closely monitoring the development of such products, as they could further strengthen the connection between the traditional financial world and modern digital currencies in Switzerland.
