New funding program for Swiss deep-tech start-ups launched
The Swiss research center CSEM has launched a new program called “Start-up Elevate.” The goal of this initiative is to provide targeted support to young companies in the field of so-called deep-tech technologies and to facilitate their path to market success.
As part of this program, five selected start-ups will be supported annually. The companies will receive not only access to technological expertise but also individual consulting from CSEM experts. This is intended to help the firms bring their complex innovations to series maturity more quickly.
Deep-tech companies often work on highly complicated scientific solutions that require significant time and capital. Through the support of CSEM, the founders receive the necessary infrastructure and network to make their products competitive in Switzerland and internationally.
The launch of “Start-up Elevate” underscores the importance of innovation for Switzerland as a business location. With this, CSEM aims to contribute to bringing promising technologies directly from the laboratories into the industry, thereby securing technological progress in the country.
