Two killed and others injured in Israeli strike on cafe in Gaza port
At least two Palestinians were killed and 12 others injured on Sunday as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting a cafe in the Gaza port area. Reports indicated that the cafe was crowded with people at the time of the attack, as many citizens were gathered there.
Medical sources reported that ambulances immediately moved to the scene to transport the victims and the injured to nearby hospitals. Paramedics confirmed that some of the wounded are in critical condition, raising fears that the death toll may rise.
The explosion caused significant destruction to the cafe and surrounding buildings in the port area. Eyewitnesses described the first moments of the attack as difficult and terrifying, as the place intended for meeting and rest turned into a scene of destruction due to the sudden bombardment.
This incident comes amid ongoing military operations and high tensions in the Gaza Strip. Residents of the Strip suffer from very harsh living and humanitarian conditions with the recurrence of attacks targeting various areas, including public places frequented by civilians.
