Trump Criticizes Israeli Military Operations in Lebanon and Warns of Civilian Casualties
U.S. President Donald Trump has issued rare criticisms of the military operations carried out by Israel in Lebanon. Trump expressed his concern regarding the way the war is being conducted, pointing to the large number of civilian casualties resulting from these operations.
During his recent remarks, Trump explained that the military tactics used have caused widespread damage to the local population. He emphasized that the protection of civilians must be a top priority in any military conflict, warning that the continuation of this approach could lead to a further deterioration of the humanitarian situation.
These statements are considered surprising to observers, given the strong relationship and strategic alliance between the United States and Israel. Washington usually provides significant support for Israeli policies, but this time there appears to be a clear difference in views on how to deal with security challenges in the region.
In conclusion, international circles are awaiting the impact of these public criticisms on diplomatic relations between the two countries in the near future. The question remains as to whether Israel will change its military strategy in Lebanon in response to this new American pressure.
