Flood situation remains concerning: 'Jaturong Mokjok' reveals photos of water surging into his home, reaching knee-high levels
Over the past week, many areas in Thailand have been facing flash flood situations due to continuous rainfall, impacting the livelihoods of people in several provinces, including areas in the metropolitan region that have been affected by rapidly rising water levels.
Most recently, Jaturong Mokjok, a famous comedian, revealed images of the flood situation via social media, stating that water had surged into the area in front of his house, reaching knee-high levels. This has made entering and leaving the house difficult, requiring him to closely monitor the water levels at all times.
This incident is just one of many cases reflecting the severity of these floods, which have caused damage to property and widespread hardship for the public. Relevant agencies have rushed to the areas to assist victims and accelerate the drainage of water from economic zones and residential areas.
For citizens living in high-risk areas, it is advised to closely follow announcements from the Thai Meteorological Department and local authorities to prepare for potential flash floods that may occur during this period. Additionally, residents should look after their health and exercise caution regarding electrical systems within their homes for safety.
