Government to launch 'Thailand FastPass' on June 23, aiming to attract major investment
Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, revealed progress on a key government project, stating that the Prime Minister is set to officially launch the "Thailand FastPass" program on June 23 to enhance service standards and facilitate both Thai and foreign investors.
The primary objective of this project is to unlock limitations and reduce complex legal procedures in doing business, which often act as obstacles to large-scale projects. The government hopes that this new mechanism will help expedite the approval of various investment projects and improve efficiency, thereby stimulating the country's economy for continuous growth.
The implementation of the Thailand FastPass system is part of the government's policy to streamline public sector operations, aiming to increase Thailand's global competitiveness and build confidence among investors seeking opportunities to expand their businesses in Southeast Asia.
It is expected that the details of the project and the application procedures will be clearly explained once again on the launch day. This will mark a significant step in transitioning the government's working system toward a modern digital model that better meets the needs of the private sector.
