Jaset confirms DDPM is rushing to deliver relief kits to flood victims nationwide, denies allegations of discrimination
Mr. Jaset Thaisreth has responded to rumors regarding discrimination in the distribution of relief kits to flood victims, confirming that the relevant agency, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM), has been delivering assistance to all affected areas equally and thoroughly.
Mr. Jaset stated that the current work of officials is focused primarily on alleviating the suffering of the people, with resources and essential supplies being allocated to various areas based on the severity of the situation and the number of victims at each location, ensuring that no one is left behind during this crisis.
Furthermore, Mr. Jaset expressed his views on the current political situation, warning that if all parties continue to prioritize political games or creating conflict while the public is facing hardship, the ones who will suffer the most are the people who are in urgent need of assistance.
In closing, Mr. Jaset called on all sectors to work together to resolve the problems as quickly as possible, while reiterating that the government and relevant agencies are ready to listen to issues and improve their operations to ensure that aid reaches the people as quickly and efficiently as possible.
