Preparing to Elevate RMUTL Nan into an Innovation University to Improve Local Quality of Life
Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat is preparing to submit the Nan University Bill to the Cabinet on September 22 to push for the elevation of Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) Nan into a full-fledged innovation university.
The primary goal of this status change is to become an 'Innovation Sandbox University,' an experimental space for educational innovation that will provide the university with greater management flexibility and the ability to create curricula that better meet the demands of the modern labor market.
Beyond education, this upgrade also focuses on applying knowledge and technology to improve the quality of life for the people of Nan province and surrounding areas, with an emphasis on creating innovations that can be practically implemented at the community and local levels.
If this bill is approved by the Cabinet, it will mark a significant step in regional educational reform, which will help promote Nan province as a future hub for learning and creative economic development.
