BEM Launches “BEM CARE 2026” Project, Providing Health Services and Vaccines to People with Disabilities
Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) has organized a special project titled “BEM CARE 2026 Health Station” to promote equal access to healthcare services for people in society. Recently, the company opened a health station to welcome a delegation from the Thailand Association of the Blind, allowing people with disabilities to access basic healthcare more conveniently.
During the activity, BEM provided a team of doctors and staff to offer preliminary health check-ups for the participants. Additionally, free influenza vaccinations were provided to build immunity and prevent illness among this vulnerable group, who are considered to be in need of special care during seasonal disease outbreaks.
This project not only focuses on health check-ups but also demonstrates the company's commitment to creating an environment that is friendly to all groups in society, particularly by utilizing MRT station spaces to their fullest potential. This ensures that people with disabilities can travel to use the services conveniently and safely, aligning with the company’s business policy that emphasizes social and environmental responsibility.
