NIA Launches Tech Forum & Hackathon 2026 to Propel Thai Medical Innovation to the Global Stage
The National Innovation Agency (NIA) has announced the "Thailand Medical Innovation Hub – Tech Forum & Hackathon 2026" as a key platform for creating innovations in medicine, health, and wellness, with the aim of implementing new technologies within Thailand's public health system.
This project provides an opportunity for individuals from diverse professional backgrounds—including doctors, researchers, engineers, technology developers, and entrepreneurs—to exchange knowledge and collaborate on developing solutions to health-related challenges. Interested participants can choose to join either the Tech Forum or the Hackathon competition, depending on their expertise and interests.
The primary goal of the event is to drive the creation of practical innovations that will improve the quality of life for citizens and enhance the competitiveness of Thailand's medical industry in the future. This gathering of experts from various sectors marks a significant step toward driving Thailand to become a regional hub for health innovation.
Those interested in participating can register through the NIA's online channels. It is not mandatory to sign up for every activity; participants may choose to register only for the parts that interest them, allowing individuals with creative ideas to contribute to the advancement of the Thai medical sector.
