Prime Minister Anutin clarifies asset case following questions regarding house and condo
On July 27, 2026, at Government House, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul gave an interview to the media regarding the investigation into his own assets and liabilities account, following news reports raising questions about a 20-million-baht house and a condominium that did not appear in the asset list declared to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).
Mr. Anutin clarified the matter to the media to ensure a correct understanding, stating that all asset-related procedures were conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The Prime Minister affirmed his readiness to provide information and verify the accuracy of the asset list according to the processes of the responsible agencies, ensuring transparency in the performance of his duties.
The issue of asset declaration is considered a significant matter for political office holders in Thailand, as the law requires high-ranking officials to disclose the details of assets and liabilities for themselves, their spouses, and their minor children to prevent conflicts of interest and corruption.
Currently, the public is paying close attention and monitoring the results of the investigation by the relevant agencies. It is expected that Mr. Anutin will proceed to submit additional clarifying documents or amend the information to be complete according to the required procedures, in order to provide clarity and resolve the doubts that have arisen.
