Plans underway to push 'Satun' as a world-class tourist destination, highlighting its status as the 'Riviera of Southeast Asia'
Mr. Worasit Liangprasit, Member of Parliament for Satun province, is preparing to present a key project to the mobile Cabinet meeting to elevate Satun province into a world-class tourist destination under the concept of "World Class Southern Border, Thailand: The Riviera of South East Asia."
This project aims to develop Satun's potential as a tourism hub for the southern border region, focusing on attracting both Thai and international tourists through its natural beauty, pristine seas, and unique culture. This will help create a new image for Thailand's southern border area.
In addition to promoting tourism, the development plan focuses on improving infrastructure and services to meet international standards to accommodate the expected increase in tourist numbers. This is projected to stimulate the local economy and generate sustainable income for the local population.
Pushing Satun to become the "Riviera of Southeast Asia" is considered a key strategy in the government's economic development of the South. If this project is approved and implemented concretely, it will mark a major transformation that will make Satun a significant tourist destination known to the entire world.
