Applications Open for MedTech Hackathon 2026: Aiming to Elevate Thai Medical Technology to Global Standards
Thailand is entering a new era of medical technology with the launch of the "MedTech Hackathon 2026" project. This event invites innovators, students, and interested individuals to collaborate on creative new ideas to elevate Thailand's public health system. The project focuses on utilizing modern technology to solve real-world medical challenges faced today.
A key highlight of this year's project is the connection of four major innovation districts across Thailand. This collaboration will allow participants to fully access resources, data, and expert guidance from each area, helping to transform ideas on paper into practical innovations for use in hospitals and healthcare facilities nationwide.
This event is not just a competition for prizes but also serves as an important platform for networking between the public sector, private sector, and academic institutions. Resulting innovations may include the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for disease diagnosis or the development of advanced medical devices to provide citizens with easier and faster access to treatment.
Those interested in joining the project can follow application details and conditions through the project's online channels. Supporting these innovations is a significant step toward helping Thailand become a regional medical hub and improving the quality of life for Thai people sustainably in the future.
