Government moves forward with Disaster Relief Fund Committee meeting
On August 7 at Government House, Mr. Paradorn Prisnanantakul, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, chaired a meeting of the Disaster Relief Fund Committee to discuss operational guidelines and support measures for citizens affected by various incidents.
This meeting is part of the government's policy drive to systematically care for and provide remedies to disaster victims. The committee jointly considered the allocation of budget and resources to ensure that assistance reaches the target groups as quickly and efficiently as possible.
In addition to discussing financial aid, the meeting also addressed guidelines for prevention and preparedness for potential future disasters, aiming to reduce the loss of life and property for citizens in high-risk areas nationwide.
The government affirms that it will continue to monitor the situation closely and stands ready to provide assistance to affected citizens in all cases, in order to build confidence and alleviate the suffering of disaster victims in accordance with the Fund's mission.
