TAT launches “Travel Near... Get Stories” project to boost Central region tourism through food and innovation
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Central Region, has announced the launch of its latest project, “Travel Near... Get Stories (Food Book Story),” to transform the tourism landscape in the Central region, making it more engaging and modern. The initiative aims to attract both Thai and international tourists to experience travel in a way they have never encountered before.
This project is a collaboration between TAT and four leading partners, including Chim Thai Co., Ltd., EV All Solution Co., Ltd., and other partners. The main goal is to connect local food stories with tourism to create added value for products and services within Central region communities, which are renowned for their diverse culinary culture.
Beyond food, the project emphasizes eco-friendly tourism by integrating electric vehicle (EV) innovation into the travel experience. This addresses the popular trend of sustainable tourism, helping to reduce pollution and enhance the image of tourist destinations in the Central region.
This operation is expected to significantly stimulate the local economy by distributing income to communities and restaurant operators. It also encourages the younger generation to take more interest in traveling to provinces near Bangkok through fun and educational activities.
Those interested can follow the details of the “Travel Near... Get Stories (Food Book Story)” project through the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s public relations channels to plan their trips and experience a new form of tourism that blends culinary flavors with technology.
