Ministry of Public Health partners with Miss Wellness 2026 contestants to promote 'Beauty Creates Happiness' policy for preventing non-communicable diseases
The Ministry of Public Health has organized a training workshop for 40 Miss Wellness 2026 contestants to promote the "Beauty Creates Happiness" policy. The initiative focuses on fostering good health and creating economic value through the "Health to Wealth" concept, aiming to inspire the public to take better care of themselves.
The core of this project is the prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, which are significant health issues for Thai people today. The Ministry intends to use the beauty contestants as representatives to communicate and encourage sustainable lifestyle changes within society.
The approach being implemented is the application of "Lifestyle Medicine," which emphasizes daily behavioral modifications, such as choosing nutritious foods, utilizing Thai herbs for health maintenance, and exercising regularly, so that everyone can achieve good health on their own without relying solely on medication.
This collaboration marks a significant step in integrating beauty with health to create a new value in Thai society that prioritizes strength from the inside out. It is expected that the contestants will serve as key voices in campaigning for Thai people to reduce their risk of NCDs and seriously commit to their health for a better quality of life in the long term.
