Thailand Showcases Potential of “Thai Massage and Herbs” at Global Health Summit, Aiming to Boost Economy on the International Stage
The Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine participated in the Thailand Global Wellness Summit 2026 to showcase Thailand's potential in holistic healthcare, focusing on presenting Thai wisdom, such as Thai massage and the use of herbs, to gain greater international recognition.
Participating in this event marks a significant step in continuously driving Thailand's medical tourism industry. Thailand is well-prepared with both expert personnel and high-quality herbal raw materials, which can meet the demands of global consumers who are increasingly health-conscious today.
In addition to presenting traditional healing arts, the Department also took this opportunity to build collaborative networks with international experts to exchange knowledge and modern technologies. These will be applied alongside Thai traditional medicine to elevate service standards and achieve greater international acceptance.
This initiative to drive the wellness economy is expected to generate national income and promote Thailand as the region's Wellness Hub, which will benefit both local entrepreneurs and the country's overall economy in the long term.
In conclusion, the Thailand Global Wellness Summit 2026 serves as a crucial platform that reinforces Thailand's image as a leader in natural healthcare, which will help attract tourists and investors from around the world to experience sustainable Thai-style wellness.
