Supachai Jaismut points out that the Senate election case must be decided based on facts and Supreme Court precedents
Mr. Supachai Jaismut, a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bhumjaithai Party, has expressed his opinion via his personal Facebook page regarding the ongoing controversy surrounding the Senate election case, which is currently garnering public attention.
In his capacity as the head of the Bhumjaithai Party's legal team, Mr. Supachai stated that the work of the 36th sub-committee is being conducted in strict accordance with Supreme Court precedents to ensure justice and adherence to established legal principles.
Mr. Supachai emphasized that the core of adjudicating corruption cases in the Senate election lies in examining the facts and evidence as they appear in the case files, rather than making decisions based solely on social trends or media briefings.
Furthermore, he mentioned the importance of maintaining confidence in the judicial process, requesting that the public follow the sub-committee's work with an understanding of the legal procedures, so that the Senate election remains transparent and accountable according to the prescribed regulations.
