Thai Youth from 4 Regions Visit China to Strengthen Cooperation Among Future Leaders
The “SEED Thailand” project has led a group of youth representatives from the four regions of Thailand on a study visit to Yunnan Province, China, to foster positive relations and facilitate learning exchanges between the youth of both countries. The primary goal is to prepare the younger generation to become leaders of the future.
This trip focuses on opening new perspectives through multidimensional learning, including ethnic cultures, modern agriculture, and community-based tourism management—topics that are currently of great interest. This allows the youth to observe examples of sustainable development and apply them within Thailand.
Furthermore, the project emphasizes building cooperation in the Mekong sub-region, helping the youth understand the strong ties between Thailand and China, particularly in terms of joint economic and social development. This serves as a vital foundation for ensuring sustainable people-to-people relations.
This activity not only broadens the horizons of Thai youth but also builds a network of young leaders who will play a crucial role in driving international cooperation in the future. Participants will take the experience gained from this study visit and apply it to further develop their own communities and society.
