Minister of Culture sends 12 Thai youths to attend peace conference at UNESCO headquarters
Ms. Sabida Thaiseth, Minister of Culture, has provided support for a delegation of 12 Thai youths to travel to attend the International Conference on Peace and Cultural Education for Youth, held at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris, France.
This conference serves as a significant platform that provides an opportunity for youths from around the world to exchange ideas and learn about building peace through education and culture. The 12 Thai youth representatives have prepared themselves to fully present Thai identity to the world.
A highlight that has garnered significant attention during this trip is the Thai youths wearing beautiful and exquisite Thai traditional costumes to attend the event, serving to promote Thai culture and heritage on an international level. This is considered a way to build a positive image and demonstrate pride in their roots.
The Ministry of Culture hopes that participating in this activity will help broaden the horizons of Thai youths, allowing them to gain an understanding of cultural diversity and the role of the new generation in promoting world peace, as well as to bring the experience gained back to further develop society and the nation in the future.
