A New Achievement for the Thai National Team: Teqball Wins 3 Gold Medals at the Asian Games
Teqball is gaining significant attention in Thailand after the Thai national team delivered an outstanding performance, securing 3 gold medals at the recent 2026 Asian Games.
Teqball is a newcomer sport that blends skills from football and table tennis, where players must use their feet, knees, or heads to send the ball over a net on a curved table. This sport has been growing rapidly in popularity worldwide as it requires agility and precise ball control.
This success marks a significant milestone for the Thai sports industry, demonstrating the potential of Thai athletes to adapt quickly to new types of sports. The hard training and strategic planning of the coaching staff played a crucial role in elevating the Thai national team to a leading position in Asia for this sport.
This victory at the Asian Games has not only brought fame to Thailand but has also sparked greater interest in Teqball among the Thai public. It is expected that in the future, training facilities and competitive events will become widespread across the country to further develop the skills of youth and new-generation athletes for the international stage.
