Thai youth prepare for the WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 competition
The 48th WorldSkills Competition, or WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, has officially commenced in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. It serves as a significant platform that brings together talented youth with vocational skills from around the world to compete and elevate professional standards on an international level.
For Thailand, this year, 27 youth representatives have been sent to compete in 22 diverse professional categories, such as Information Technology, Cooking, Automotive Technology, and Service, all of which are essential skills for modern industrial development.
Every Thai youth representative has undergone rigorous training and preparation to demonstrate their potential and craftsmanship to the world. Participating in this event is not only about competing for medals but also serves as a vital opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with experts from various countries.
WorldSkills is a platform that inspires the younger generation to further develop their professional skills, which will contribute positively to the development of human resources and the Thai economy in the future.
We invite all Thai citizens to join in sending encouragement and support to the team of Thai youth currently undertaking this important mission, so that they may bring honor and success back to Thailand.
