Kratae R-Siam reveals her inner feelings after creating music to push Thai Soft Power but lacking support
Kratae R-Siam, a famous Thai singer, has posted a message on social media to express her feelings regarding her music work, stating that she has a strong intention to create musical works that push Thailand's Soft Power to be recognized internationally.
In the message, Kratae expressed her disappointment that in her past work, she has dedicated both physical and mental effort, as well as invested a significant amount of her own budget to elevate the quality of music videos and performances to be professional and modern, yet she feels she has not received the support or recognition from relevant agencies as much as she should have.
The artist added that to successfully push Soft Power, it cannot be done alone, but requires support from many sectors, including budget, public relations, and providing opportunities for artists to fully showcase their potential so that their work can compete with international artists.
This issue has received a lot of attention from fans and netizens, with many coming forward to offer encouragement to Kratae and joining in to criticize the current approach to supporting Thai artists, which still has many limitations.
This incident reflects the challenges Thai artists face in trying to present culture through music to the world, which remains an issue that Thai society must turn its attention to and find solutions for together, so that Thailand's Soft Power can grow sustainably in the future.
