Prime Minister declares Thailand ready for global cooperation in developing clean energy and natural gas
The Prime Minister has revealed the government's key policy, stating that Thailand is fully prepared to embrace international cooperation to focus on sustainable energy development and build long-term economic security for the country.
This cooperation covers several important areas, particularly the procurement of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to serve as a primary energy source for driving the industrial sector. Furthermore, the government is prioritizing the promotion of renewable energy, which is clean energy that helps reduce environmental impact and aligns with current global trends.
In addition to energy production, the government also plans to support high-efficiency energy storage technologies to ensure continuous electricity usage, as well as systematic carbon management, in order to move toward the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with international standards.
This initiative marks a significant step for Thailand in attracting foreign investment and upgrading energy infrastructure to be more modern, which will have a positive impact on economic growth and the quality of life for the people in the future.
