EC issues precautions for Social Security Board election: Photography allowed but must not violate others' rights
The Election Commission (EC) has issued important guidelines for the Social Security Board election to ensure that the voting process remains orderly and transparent, emphasizing that all relevant parties and the public must strictly adhere to the regulations.
Regarding the recording of photos, videos, or live streaming of the atmosphere within the polling station, the EC permits such actions with the condition that they must only capture the general atmosphere and must be conducted from outside the boundaries designated by officials.
Furthermore, the EC has emphasized a crucial prohibition: it is strictly forbidden to record images that violate the secrecy of voters. Voters must be granted privacy in choosing their representatives, and it is prohibited to publish images that identify other voters or reveal their voting decisions.
The election will be open for the public and eligible voters to cast their ballots from 08:00 to 16:00, as scheduled at each polling station nationwide.
The EC requests cooperation from all citizens to follow the instructions of polling station officials closely to prevent any conflicts or unintentional violations of election laws.
