Survey indicates continuous digital growth in Thailand, with AI gaining highest popularity among entrepreneurs
The latest survey from the Thailand Digital Outlook project for 2026 reveals significant progress for Thailand, with the digital readiness score of Thai entrepreneurs increasing notably, reflecting a faster adaptation to the digital economy compared to the previous year.
Data indicates that Thai entrepreneurs achieved a readiness score of 2.12, an increase of 0.56 points from last year. A key factor driving the overall average score upward is the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector, which has increasingly prioritized the integration of technology into their business operations.
Regarding the most popular technologies, the survey found that Artificial Intelligence (AI) ranks as the tool most widely used at present. Most entrepreneurs choose to utilize AI to enhance operational efficiency, reduce complex processes, and assist in data analysis for business decision-making.
This growth serves as a positive signal for the Thai economy, as it demonstrates that the Thai business sector is proactive and ready to cope with global technological changes. Continued support from both the public and private sectors will be the key to enabling Thai entrepreneurs to compete sustainably on an international level in the future.
