Suntory partners with the FDA and FoSTAT to launch the “Smart Kids with Good Health” project, promoting the well-being of Thai youth
Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) has partnered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Food Science and Technology Association of Thailand (FoSTAT) to launch the “Smart Kids with Good Health” project, aimed at encouraging Thai youth to adopt good eating habits and maintain long-term health.
This project focuses on educating children and youth on proper nutritional principles, emphasizing the selection of healthy and safe food. This is a crucial factor in preventing non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as childhood obesity and diabetes, which are currently significant public health issues in Thailand.
In addition to providing nutritional knowledge, the project organizes creative activities that allow children to learn through hands-on experience. Experts in food science are collaborating to provide accurate and easy-to-understand information, ensuring that children can practically apply what they learn in their daily lives.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for the private and public sectors in building a healthy society. It is hoped that the youth participating in the project will become role models for health management and pass on knowledge about good nutrition to their families and those around them in the future.
