depa launches 'SME Spring Board' project to help Thai entrepreneurs access digital technology
The Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) has announced the launch of a new project called "SME Spring Board" to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Thailand, making it easier for them to access standardized and modern digital technology. This project is a collaboration with the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP) and the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank).
The core of this project is the creation of the "Thailand Digital Catalog," a collection of certified digital technologies that allows entrepreneurs to select tools suitable for their businesses. Furthermore, the project provides financial support through subsidies covering up to 50% of actual expenses.
Interested entrepreneurs can apply for financial support of up to 500,000 baht per entity to be used for improving operational systems or applying technology to their businesses, which will help increase competitiveness and reduce long-term operating costs.
This collaboration marks a significant step in driving Thailand's digital economy, focusing on creating opportunities for SMEs to adapt to the digital era in a stable and sustainable manner. Interested entrepreneurs can follow for more details and application procedures through the channels of depa and relevant partner agencies.
