Royal Thai Navy deploys 10 water jet propulsion boats to accelerate flood drainage in Nakhon Nayok Province
The Royal Thai Navy has deployed 10 water jet propulsion boats to assist flood-stricken areas in Nakhon Nayok Province. This mission aims to accelerate the drainage of stagnant floodwater into main rivers, helping to alleviate the hardships faced by local residents.
Rear Admiral Parach Rattanachaiyapan, spokesperson for the Royal Thai Navy, revealed that the deployment of these additional boats serves to reinforce the existing units, ensuring more efficient water management in critical areas. Personnel began their journey early this morning to transport the boats to their designated installation points according to the established plan.
The operation of the water jet propulsion boats will increase the flow rate of water in various canals and rivers, which will help reduce flood levels in residential and agricultural areas, allowing life for the people of Nakhon Nayok to return to normal as quickly as possible.
Furthermore, the Royal Thai Navy continues to monitor the water situation closely in coordination with relevant local agencies to assess conditions and prepare to provide additional personnel and equipment should heavy rainfall occur or water levels rise in the future.
Residents in high-risk areas are advised to continuously follow news and official announcements to ensure their safety and to prepare for flood situations that may change at any time.
