Bhumjaithai MPs mobilize to assist flood victims in Bangkok and Pathum Thani
The flooding situation in several areas of Bangkok and Pathum Thani province continues to impact the daily lives of citizens, prompting various agencies and political groups to begin deploying to affected communities where water remains stagnant.
Recently, Members of Parliament (MPs) from the Bhumjaithai Party representing non-flood-affected areas gathered to organize relief activities, preparing 2,000 meal boxes to be distributed to victims in the hardest-hit areas.
This operation focuses on providing immediate relief to residents who are unable to travel easily to purchase food, as water levels remain high on main roads and within communities, making access to food and essential supplies difficult.
In addition to food assistance, the team has been surveying the further needs of the public to coordinate with relevant agencies, aiming to resolve issues and monitor the health of community members as long as water levels remain high.
Cooperation from all sectors in such situations is vital to helping the public overcome this crisis. It is expected that the distribution of food and essential supplies will continue until the flooding situation in these areas subsides.
