Government moves forward with ‘Thailand Zero Dropout Plus’ project, aiming to bring Thai children back into the education system
The Thai government has announced the continued advancement of the 'Thailand Zero Dropout Plus' policy, with the key objective of addressing the issue of children and youth who have dropped out of the education system by bringing them back to school, thereby creating opportunities and a better future for Thai youth.
The Prime Minister emphasized that solving the problem of children dropping out of the education system is considered one of the most important investments in the country's human capital development. If every child can access education equally, it will have a positive impact on Thailand's long-term economic and social development.
This project focuses on proactive efforts to track and assist children who lack educational opportunities, with coordination between government agencies and relevant sectors to ensure that every child receives appropriate assistance, both in terms of learning and support for essential basic needs.
The government is confident that driving this policy will help reduce educational inequality and serve as a vital foundation for building quality human resources to drive Thailand toward sustainable growth in the future.
