Prime Minister courts 'Skyline', the theme park giant from New Zealand, to invest in a new landmark in Bangkok
The Prime Minister of Thailand has held discussions with senior executives from Skyline Enterprises, a world-renowned theme park and amusement ride developer from New Zealand, to invite them to invest in Thailand, with the aim of creating a new, modern tourist attraction in Bangkok.
The Board of Investment (BOI) has revealed progress, stating that the company is highly interested in expanding its business into Thailand, as it recognizes the country's continuously growing tourism potential and the readiness of its infrastructure to accommodate both Thai and international tourists.
At present, the BOI has already approved the investment project, which is considered a positive sign for stimulating the country's economy and tourism. The entry of Skyline Enterprises will not only bring modern, internationally standardized amusement technology to Thailand but will also create jobs and generate income for the local population.
This investment is part of the government's policy to elevate Thailand into a hub for tourism and recreation in Southeast Asia. It is expected that this new theme park project will become a key destination that helps attract more tourists to spend time in Bangkok.
This public-private partnership reflects the confidence that foreign investors have in Thailand. The public and tourists will have to wait for further details regarding the location and the official opening schedule.
