A team of students from the Faculty of Economics at Thammasat University has achieved great success at the Thailand Social Case Competition (SCC) 2026, successfully winning first place in the King Health Care category.
The winning team, named “JIPMU Consulting,” consists of a group of talented and creative students. This competition focused on presenting concepts to solve complex business problems and transforming them into projects that create tangible positive social impact.
The competition's King Health Care brief focused on the development of public health and healthcare systems, which are critical issues affecting the quality of life for people in Thai society. The JIPMU Consulting team applied their knowledge of economics to business planning to find sustainable solutions that meet the needs of patients and current hospital systems.
This achievement by the students is not only a source of pride for Thammasat University, but it also proves that the younger generation is ready to apply classroom knowledge to solve real-world problems at the national level.
The Thailand Social Case Competition is considered an important platform that provides Thai youth the opportunity to demonstrate their potential in analytical thinking and teamwork, which are essential skills for their future careers.
