MHESI partners with Japanese research institute to offer Thais scholarships and access to world-class laboratories
Professor Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), has announced a major partnership with NICT, a leading national research institute in Japan, to create new opportunities for Thai personnel and researchers.
The primary goal of this collaboration is to support education and research. NICT is prepared to offer scholarships to talented Thai students and researchers, providing them with the opportunity to pursue further studies and develop their skills at an international level. Furthermore, state-of-the-art research laboratories will be opened, allowing Thai individuals to utilize these facilities and learn new technologies directly from Japanese experts.
These negotiations mark a significant step for MHESI in securing international cooperation to elevate the standards of Thai education and science. It is hoped that the knowledge and experience gained from this world-class research institute will be brought back to develop the country and create new innovations for Thai society in the future.
MHESI will provide further details regarding the scholarship application process and the conditions for laboratory access in the near future. Those interested can follow official updates through the ministry's communication channels to prepare for this important opportunity.
