Dhurakij Pundit University Hosts 8th SMART Conference to Propel Thailand Toward Global Health Hub Status
Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU) has collaborated with eight health-related faculties to organize the 8th SMART National Academic Conference, aimed at promoting the development of personnel and medical innovation. The primary goal is to elevate Thailand to become a regional and global Medical & Wellness Hub.
The event featured presentations of new research and innovations related to healthcare, as well as knowledge exchanges among experts, faculty members, and students to prepare for the challenges of an aging society and the rising demand for healthcare services in the present day.
This event also focused on building a collaborative network between academic institutions and the business sector to apply knowledge in the practical development of high-quality medical services that meet international standards. This will help attract more medical tourists to utilize services in Thailand.
The success of the 8th SMART conference marks a significant step for the Thai education sector in supporting government policies that aim to establish Thailand as a premier destination for healthcare, which will help generate revenue and stimulate the country's economy in the long term.
