Famous singer issues warning: Beware of dangers from venomous animals during floods
During the flooding situation occurring in many areas of Thailand, a large number of people have been affected by water rapidly entering their homes. Recently, a famous singer shared his personal experience of having to quickly evacuate his grandmother from their home for safety, while also issuing a warning to those facing the same problem to be extra cautious.
The singer stated that the most concerning issue, beyond the rising water levels, is the danger from venomous animals and reptiles that often come with the floodwaters, such as snakes, centipedes, and leeches. These animals often flee the water to hide inside homes or residential areas, creating a risk that family members could be bitten or harmed without realizing it.
Furthermore, he advised everyone to regularly check dark corners of the house and areas reached by the water. If possible, one should use a stick or other tool to inspect an area before walking into it to prevent unexpected accidents, especially in homes with elderly people or small children, who should be closely supervised and moved to a safe, completely dry location.
This incident serves as an important cautionary tale for people in high-risk areas not to be complacent about the flooding situation and to always be prepared to deal with the silent threats that come with the water, in order to ensure the safety of themselves and their families during this crisis.
