EC presents awards for ‘White Democracy’ video contest, aiming to engage the new generation in politics
The Office of the Election Commission (EC) held an award ceremony for the winners of the video clip contest under the theme 'White Democracy' to promote knowledge and understanding of elections among the public, particularly the new generation who primarily use social media.
This activity is part of a proactive public relations project in which the EC aims to utilize innovation and modern media channels for communication, making political content more accessible and engaging rather than relying solely on traditional information channels.
The contest provided an opportunity for youth and interested individuals to use their creativity in producing short video clips to campaign for Thais to recognize the importance of transparent, honest, and fair elections, which are the core essence of the term 'White Democracy'.
Furthermore, the EC hopes that the use of social media will help create a space for exchanging opinions and encourage the new generation to participate more in political activities, which will have a positive impact on the long-term development of democracy in Thailand.
Those interested can watch the award-winning video clips through the online channels of the Office of the Election Commission to join in supporting high-quality elections.
