NIA opens applications for medical innovation project, pushing Thailand toward becoming a global health hub
The National Innovation Agency (Public Organization), or NIA, has announced that it is accepting applications from those interested in joining the Thailand Medical Innovation Hub – Tech Forum & Hackathon 2026 project to further promote the development of medical technology and innovation in Thailand.
The main goal of this project is to connect the four medical innovation districts across the country to create an ecosystem that facilitates the creation of new research and innovations, with a focus on applying technology to solve public health problems and improve the quality of life for the Thai people.
The activities within the event will provide participants with the opportunity to exchange knowledge through the Tech Forum and participate in a Hackathon to brainstorm and create innovative prototypes that can be practically applied in medical facilities and the health industry, which is considered a crucial step in transforming laboratory research into tangible products.
This collaboration not only supports Thai researchers and startups but also prepares Thailand to become a key medical innovation hub for the region, which will have long-term positive effects on the country's economy and public health system.
Those interested can follow application details and further information through NIA's public relations channels to be a part of driving the future of the Thai medical industry toward sustainable growth.
