TAT Launches "Food Book Story" Project, Inviting Travelers to Explore the Central Region Through Culinary Tales

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Central Region, has launched a new project titled "Travel Nearby... Get the Story: Food Book Story" to promote tourism in Thailand's central provinces. The project focuses on presenting stories of local food and impressive journeys to attract tourists to experience new things in areas near Bangkok.

This project is a collaboration between TAT and several private sector partners, such as Chim Thai Co., Ltd. and EV All Solution Co., Ltd. It utilizes technology and digital platforms to help tourists more easily find interesting restaurants and attractions, facilitating travel planning for holidays.

The heart of the project is storytelling through food, or "Food Story." Since Central Thailand has a wide variety of unique dishes, telling the stories behind the ingredients and cooking methods will enhance the appeal of tourism. This allows tourists to not only enjoy delicious meals but also learn about the culture and way of life of local people at the same time.

Beyond food, the project also prioritizes convenient and environmentally friendly travel, such as promoting the use of electric vehicles (EVs) for tourism, which aligns with the concept of sustainable tourism. TAT hopes this project will help distribute income more widely to communities and small-scale entrepreneurs across various provinces.

TAT is confident that the "Food Book Story" project will stimulate the economy in the Central region and make it a popular destination for those who love eating and traveling. This project demonstrates the adaptation of Thai tourism, seamlessly blending modern technology with the charm of local culture.
