Statement from the Ministry of Health on the Digital Appointment System
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu made important statements regarding Turkey's digitalization efforts in the field of healthcare. Minister Memişoğlu stated that the projects carried out under the "Health Türkiye" brand aim to facilitate citizens' access to healthcare services.
The Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS) offered by the Ministry continues to be developed to increase efficiency in healthcare services. Thanks to this system, patients can now easily make appointments through digital channels without having to go to hospitals.
The system provides services in 79 different medical branches across Turkey. Citizens can both choose their physicians and quickly manage their appointment processes at healthcare facilities online.
With this digital transformation, the Ministry of Health aims to reduce waiting times in healthcare services and increase patient satisfaction. These efforts under the "Health Türkiye" umbrella are planned to be further expanded in the coming period.
