Successful Firing Test from Türkiye's Unmanned Fighter Jet KIZILELMA
The KIZILELMA Unmanned Fighter Jet, one of the significant projects in Türkiye's defense industry, has achieved another milestone. The indigenous and national unmanned aerial vehicle, developed by Baykar, has successfully completed its first firing tests from its internal weapons bay.
KIZILELMA, which has initiated a new era in world aviation history, has taken its operational capability a step further with this test. The aircraft's internal weapons bay reduces its radar cross-section, thereby enhancing its stealth capabilities. This feature provides a major strategic advantage in modern air warfare.
The conducted tests proved that both the aircraft's flight systems and its weapon systems function in harmony. Experts state that this success of KIZILELMA reinforces Türkiye's leadership in unmanned aerial vehicle technologies. The testing process is considered one of the planned stages aimed at increasing the aircraft's effectiveness on the battlefield.
With its artificial intelligence-supported flight systems and high maneuverability, KIZILELMA aims to play a key role in the air battles of the future. With this project, Türkiye is strengthening its position among the few countries in the world that possess unmanned fighter jet technology.
In the coming period, the aircraft is expected to conduct new tests with different types of ammunition. Defense industry officials state that efforts for KIZILELMA's mass production and entry into the inventory are continuing with determination.
