Roketsan Brings Young Talents Together at Artificial Intelligence Hackathon
Roketsan, one of Turkey's leading defense industry companies, has launched a special event in Ankara to discover young talents and generate innovative solutions to problems in defense technologies. The "Artificial Intelligence Hackathon," held between September 25-27, brings together technology-enthusiast youth.
More than seventy young software developers and engineering candidates participating in the event are engaged in an intense work pace for three days. Contestants are working on developing artificial intelligence-based solutions for complex problems in the defense industry. During this process, participants also receive mentorship support from Roketsan's expert engineers.
Roketsan officials state that the main purpose of this event is to bring young minds who will contribute to Turkey's national technology initiative into the sector. Thanks to the hackathon, the company finds the opportunity to both evaluate new ideas and meet potential future colleagues.
It is aimed for the projects that rank at the end of the event to be used in defense technologies. With such organizations, Roketsan aims to strengthen its domestic and national efforts in the field of artificial intelligence.
